Víctor Manuel Torres Mestre (born 31 December 1970 in Madrid) is a retired Spanish footballer who played as a left defender.
After unsuccessfully graduating through Real Madrid's youth ranks, only appearing in two La Liga matches in three 1/2 years and mainly playing with the B squad, Torres Mestre was released in January 1993, only to find opportunities also scarce at lowly CD Logroñés.
In 1993, he moved to RCD Espanyol, being an instant first-choice, as the Catalans went straight from the second division into narrowly missing on UEFA Cup qualification after a sixth-place finish, and remained a starter until 1998, when he left for FC Girondins de Bordeaux.
After one season in France, in which he was the most utilized player in his position in an eventual Ligue 1 conquest, Torres Mestre returned to Spain, playing with Deportivo Alavés and Real Betis, the latter in the second level. He retired in 2006, after unassuming spells with Varzim Sport Club (Portugal), CF Sporting Mahonés and CE Premià (the last two amateur sides).
